Summary
TapCard is a digital business card. The content on your card (name, title, contact info, socials) is intentionally public — that's the point. We collect minimal account data and never sell or rent it. One Swift + Tap account covers the suite.
What we collect
- Account: name, email, hashed password (or your linked Google / GitHub identity).
- Card content: name, title, company, email, phone, website, location, bio, theme, socials, optional booking link.
- Public stats: aggregate view + save counters. We do not log who viewed or saved.
- Billing: Stripe holds the card; we see only metadata.
- Usage: IPs and request metadata for abuse prevention. No third-party tracking pixels.
Public card pages + vCard downloads
- Card content is public by design. NFC + QR are intentional sharing surfaces.
- The vCard download is generated on-demand from your saved card data. We do not embed tracking pixels into the .vcf.
- Save analytics are counts only — we do not log which contact saved your card.
How we use it
- Render your card page and your dashboard.
- Serve vCard 3.0 downloads to visitors who tap 'Save to Contacts.'
- Send transactional email: account email, password resets via Brevo.
- Prevent abuse: rate limit suspicious traffic, block impersonation.
Who we share with
- Stripe (subscription billing).
- Brevo (transactional email).
- Cloudflare (infrastructure).
- Nobody else. We never sell or rent data.
Universal account
One Swift + Tap account covers TapCard, TapBio, SwiftBill, SwiftForm, and SwiftLead. Workspace data is product-scoped.
Your rights
- Access: edit your card any time from /dashboard.
- Deletion: close your account to remove the public card and aggregate stats within 30 days.
- Portability: card content exports as JSON / vCard from /dashboard.
